If they raised $1B around 18mths ago that implies they were spending $55.6M a month or so (over any revenues they had). Even with 1500 employees that implies either they were paying a lot more than $250k per employee or they had extremly high other costs. It’s clear they must have overspent but it feels like there are some parts of the story that haven’t come out yet as well.
