Saw people discussing an article that was claiming letting your period happen naturally increases risk of ovarian and breast cancer. The reasoning is most women used to spend a decent amount of their adult life having babies but now we don’t so… cancer? Idk. The article was arguing that we should all get on BC and ditch the “off weeks” and just get rid of periods altogether. But this was also written by a woman who runs a BC delivery service. I feel like when it comes to this topic, none of the info available is ever consistent.
