Another go at depicting wood grain. Just used a 2B with lighter then heavier strokes. Kinda sorta works. On a different note, the perspective in the image is wack! In real life the drawing and the house have very similar proportions, especially around the chimney. The camera lens totally distorts both subjects. There was is a metaphor there somewhere about perspective or filters or questioning inputs!
