Calling all Nostash users! I need your help to ship it to the Apple App Store. If you have an iPhone Pro Max (6.7-inch or 6.9-inch) and/or iPad 13-inch with iOS 18 / iPadOS 18 installed, send me thorough screenshots of the app and browser extension in action in light and dark mode. I’ll zap 5000 sats to the first person to send me the screenshots. If you send screenshots for both iPhone and iPad, I’ll zap 10000 sats.
Reason: Apple’s Xcode has a bug where I can’t test the extension in Safari in the Simulator, so I can’t take screenshots myself, and I don’t own the required devices.
Nostash is a Safari browser extension I created that stores your Nostr private key and signs Nostr events with it per the NIP-07 specification. It’s a fork of Nostore, which is no longer supported by the original developer, ursuscamp (npub19pw…jtwk) , and no longer on the Apple App Store. Nostash is currently in beta on Apple TestFlight and I’ll release it to the Apple App Store soon. Please try it with your favorite Nostr web apps and let me know if you have any feedback. I’m only maintaining Nostash as the sole NIP-07 solution on Apple platforms and do not plan to add new features. I will be putting most of my energy into Yeti, a better native iOS signer app, which will hopefully supersede Nostash once it’s ready.
