If I did this, I'd effectively be touch type with one side of keyboard and hunt an peck with the other side. I did hunt & peck from ages 7-14 so the brain cells are still remember how to do fast hunt & peck.
If everyone had only 1 hand, then we would move home position to FGHJ and the now F & J fingers would own a lot of territory.
