the Linux enthusiasts seem largely clueless about what expectations people who have used apps like Premiere, Resolve, FCPX, Vegas and Lightworks actually have, and how bad the FOSS alternatives really are.
Lightworks was recommended to me by someone who actually edits video for a living. i hesitated to try it because i was busy checking if any of the FOSS stuff held up, and the answer is nope.
