My electricity tariff drops to 24.665 pence per kWh from tomorrow. That’s still about 50% higher than what I was paying before the whole industry price gouged us two years ago on the back of a broken gas-driven pricing mechanism, but it means at least that my motoring is back down to 5.7 pence per mile so long as I keep filling up at home.
