Anyone Else Freaked Out By How Bad the Job Market Is?
I started applying for jobs the day after the election because I anticipated some of what would happen come January. Despite doing all the things you hear you're supposed to do, like tailoring your resume and working your network, I've only gotten like a half dozen interviews that have turned into zero job offers. Elmo assured me there were high productivity private sector jobs out there to replace my low productivity government job. I'm not seeing them and starting to freak out. Is it just me or is everyone else running into the same thing?
