Like, I have a business and our landing page doesn’t say “here’s our Twitter”, it says “here’s our email”, and that’s where people send stuff like “hey we want to hire you and pay you money”
Many services have “sign up via Facebook” and so on, but all of them have “sign up by email”
I get push notifications for many things, but for most of them I either get additional email notifications or *only* email notifications
Email, despite starting as “humans sending things to each other”, became a glue protocol that anyone can use in unlimited quantities
