1) I am demonstrably bad at social media;
2) I never tried very hard, because of my "the #pornocalypse comes for us all" fatalism about building adult community on corporate platforms.
I also used to think it would have been easier to find social media "engagement" if I was a creator rather than mostly a curator of other people's stuff. But I think what we all saw on Tumblr may have blown up that theory. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
