I think it was more so pent up anger against spam. I think both sides are more or less open to CSFS and CTV and neither are as ideological like the proposed/implemented treatments of spam are. Devs are more aligned on these changes too and it’s more in their lane, as opposed to their Core team making decisions with more economic and behavioral implications
More with
MartyBent (nprofile…n4ze) that we’ll get the soft forks, but I don’t think this year. Would take even odds on the next 18-24 months though
