Really struggling with my family at the minute. Because they think of me as “high functioning” rather than “high masking” they minimise my difficulties compared to my nephews who are also autistic. So whenever I put boundaries in place they get broken because they think I should be able to cope better than I do. Like I should be able to just stop being autistic when they do something that I can’t cope with.
