This can be a dream or a nightmare
- A dream because it could improve the quality of life of many people around the world.
- A nightmare because it can be a **HUGE** tool for social control. If we are already going downhill with smartphone data collection and digital passports, CBDCs and so on, imagine it with brain implants.
The issue is not the technology in itself, it's our set of values as civilization. Imagine the cognitive quantum leap if we could augment our cerebral cortex with the development of AI!
Keyboards are like an elderly postman sending a message between two Usain Bolts (our Brains and Computers), all we need is to eliminate the postman and let the two communicate directly. The issue are the social implications of it, but once China implements it in large scale, the West will be forced to do it too.
