I am listening now, and am reminded of how much the original standard -- is this an album someone can listen to for years, given that they cannot afford many albums? -- should prevail over the relativistic standard of "this is not the worst in the review queue today."
Winterwolf clearly improved, but this is still hard rock Swedish death metal with mostly circular songs that make sparse use of actual melody.
Would I buy it? Probably not.
