I find it useful as a way for people to communicate info about themselves. But people who think they're special because they fall into a "rare" personality type are so irreparably deluded that I don't know where to start. I wonder about consoomers too: how can you make something a core part of your identity if you know that millions of other people bought the same exact thing?
I think it only makes sense to identify with something if we helped to create it. I bet that fits with Jung's idea of individuation.
