vended logs get billed at a different rate, with tiers.

I cannot for the life of me find this in the docs anymore though.
But trust me - if you set the log group up under /aws/vendedlogs/servicename and set up the right resource policy (CLI required), it will be billed differently than if the log group is called something else.
It ends up being cheaper, but plug it into the calculator.
