I disagree from a social perspective. communism tends to be extremely inefficient at larger scale. developing programs would require thousands of people doing tedious busywork, efficiency being very low. think scrum-meetings, but everyone is a scrum-master and there are no programmers. there will be enormous issues with the software being late, insecure and missing core features.

communism hindering people in their free expression leads to underground movements, like pirated music on xrays attached or secret computer clubs. scarcity of games, having to pirate games, will entice users to upskill, becoming computer experts and hackers. post-Soviet Ukraine has some of the best computer experts, because they come from this scarcity background. restricting other outlets like gaming and porn will lead teenage boys down a hacking path, to get either or to do other "fun" things like hack the nuclear plant next door.

there's no intrinsic incentive to keep data save, since the state will not be held responsible for losing the data of its citizens. there's no oversight and nobody can be removed from their state-approved positions, especially if they are party members.
