The shitcoin industry is so revolved around themselves that they use the term KOL as if everybody knew it meant "Key Opinion Leader".
For example, GoinGecko is running a survey where they explain the abbreviation "CT" - Crypto Twitter - but not KOL.
Apparently a KOL is somebody with a huge following and zero ethics.
