Carefully re-tried Obsidian to replace Simplenote.
Pros:
- The graph view
Cons:
- I have thousands of files and problems with sync / slowness
- It's ridiculous you can't have special characters in titles (yes I know they are files, but it should be a no brainer to work)
- Can't pin notes to a list
- Still too many panels (on mobile when I mostly use the notes)
- Can't see excerpt in the note list
- The formatting still has those visual issues like bullets being too close to the text
I need a notes app that "just works". Obsidian (npub1g6e…h2zd) is not it.
