Our church had partnerships, where the Western church would provide expensive things like group plane travel and seminary degrees, and the Africans would come to the US at Western expense and hold evangelistic meetings - with huge crowds due to the novel accent and colorful clothing.

But now, the Africans are aghast at the apostasy of the Western church. And Russia is all about traditional family values - itself a 180 from the Soviet anti-family agenda.
