It’ll be a tough recovery for Jasper. Once a WUI fire transitions to an urban conflagration with building to building ignition (like Maui) IC needs to make difficult decisions. Crews in structural gear need to switch air bottles and rehab every 30-45 min. It might be OK to lose 20 -100 houses if they save critical infrastructure. All communities need to do better mitigating structure ignitability.
