I've been looking to try to get my hands on some decent Palestinian sandals; had someone over in Jenin who said they were going to send some but things sort of fell apart there. And I can't exactly justify letting sandals be the priority with that whole situation anyway.
Birkenstocks have never struck me as being worth the fuss people seem to make about them. Expecting people from Europe to know the first thing about making decent sandals seems odd.
