"content": "Fabric types: should I machine or hand appliqué my pieces quilt top onto the background fabric? I was going to do it by hand, but I think it will be more difficult to keep it correctly positioned, and be more likely to wrinkle (and crease), if I have it piled up on my lap thank if I have it on the table and get it done quicker. \n\nI think I’m going to spray starch the background. I don’t really want to have interfacing in there. \n\nComparison of the two methods: \n\nHand https://www.charmaboutyou.com/2018/07/hand-applique-stitches-for-epp.html\nMachine https://www.bonjourquilts.com/machine-applique-quilt/ (sadly I don’t have that pretty satin stitch on my machine, or I would definitely go for it)\n\nnostr:npub1rv36k80prtfnp4gs9qz969lskhszqhdhjdq59xcfyvglfxgdpw0qjf5ese nostr:npub1700m7j853vxgvt7af3cmyxe9rmxqejtptdvznwe92f6vfs5jssps36n6pu nostr:npub1xz4zq4vzlp00767tmaf4exeeeawvemfkvt86q3egxdxmm0upxmkspe8uh7",
