I've been thinking about this too recently. I think that Twitter has gotten to the point that very few people even see our tweets (non blue check plebs talking about nostr) and those who do are chasing an influencer status that they think the Twitter algos will grant them if they can just say the right things in the right way.

Today nostr is for people who just want to be themselves without needing to pursue influencer status. I believe that in the future there will be clients and relays that will give people the algos, censorship and the influencer status stuff. But there will always be clients and relays on nostr for us freedom loving, uncensored, nostriches who just want to say:

Every week or so I try to bring up the conversation of NOSTR and how amazing it can be as the singular social media anyone will ever need.

I attempt to sell the idea of P2P, V4V (and of course zaps⚡🤙) along with so many other useful features but it seems everyone I know is still ignorantly plugged into the matrix simulation.

My personal and greatest take away from it all is this:
Life is lonely at the top of the gene pool ladder. You're doing great. Keep leaning forward into what you know to be worth your oh so limited time line. Continue to create daily value without expectation of any form of return.
