I like the framing that bitcoin is a superior technology of money. As an example of when the technology of transportation advanced from horses to cars, very specific people won tremendously (auto, oil, construction companies) and some lost hard (horse breeders, saddle makers).
But overall even if most people and investors "missed" the direct economic gains of the industry changing, they all benefited from the use of cars.
Bitcoin is like that. Some will win hard, some will lose hard, but all will benefit from the evolution of money.
