And no, I don’t see any reason the regular taxpayer should pick up the bill to rebuild in the same damn place after the planet plays jenga and wins.
Do I believe it is the duty of a government to make sure its citizens are fed and housed? Yes, yes I do. But I don’t think we need to subsidize million dollar homes.
