This often relates to how big an account is but not always. It doesn't necessarily mean they're dicks because they're big, it means they also get a shitload of notifications and can't check everything. Though I'm sure some are dicks. Plus client-side issues exist, meaning notifications don't always work.
It only pisses me off when people use the asknostr hashtag with a question and then give no reaction to any of the replies. The otherwise valid excuse that you didn't see the notification doesn't count there imo.
