They are getting tired - do not wither; we will get through this
First week in the office I was legit sick, so stayed home 3 days. The next week I was not contagious, so came in.Thursday, I got an email saying "everyone has to be at the office.......you are excepted." I think a lot of people took a lot of sick hours right as the gov't was about to shut down.What did they do? They funded the IRS for 30 days (until 4/15) in the event the CR didn't pass.These motherfuckers do not realize how many of us have months of sick time. A colleague of mine is being told to commute 3 hours. She is 59-years-old, and she has 600+ hours of sick time, and 200+ hours of annual. She can come in 1 day a week the rest of the year and take 4 days off before she starts having trouble up around October, or November. But when the Fiscal YE comes up they'll be saying, we need you! Can you WFH????? And she will.
