I kind of hate how US politics has "narratives" like it's a Netflix miniseries or something. Nonetheless. 😐
Why didn't Biden use "we won't go back" as his slogan? Many voted for Biden, fed up with Trump... yet even with Biden in office Trump was still all over our politics & news. Narratively electing Biden failed to stop Trump.
It makes the "we won't go back" ring hollow.
"we will continue to struggle to bar the door" isn't as compelling.
