Good to see the FTC starting to take action against influencers buying engagement (via followers, likes, etc).
Trying to directly persuade the corporate ghouls who own social media to change has patently not worked. The techlords have profit centres in the places we have ethics and morals.
Tightening the screws on those who manipulate or abuse the algorithms might force a rethink.
