“[You bring forth] wine to gladden the heart of man” Ps. 104:14-15
“Do not get drunk with wine” Eph. 5:18
Enjoy alcohol and don’t get drunk. Like all good things, it can be perverted for evil (drunkenness). It should be viewed as a gift from the Lord and enjoyed, with thanksgiving, in moderation. You don’t need to partake, and if you struggle with drunkenness, it would be wise not to, but don’t call a gift from the Lord evil. Affirm its proper use and reject all others. This is the way.
