However if you have a Steam Deck LCD, you'll need to decide if the screen, battery and WiFi/BT is enough of an upgrade to spend as it's not a Steam Deck 2, so no performance uplift. If you don't own the Deck already, I think it's well worth it.
If you're looking to slap Windows on it though, you'll be better served by the ROG Ally or Legion Go instead as Valve doesn't really provide much support as the available drivers are old.
