I wish more people around here would understand that commerce is a good and normal thing, and that it's not capitalism.
There are a bunch of really excellent reasons to limit or restrict interaction with Threads, but 😱 ADS 😱 as a concept isn't one of them. That reaction is 100% the mastodon HOA, gearing up to send a stream of nastigrams and fines to the handy man for having a work van parked in the driveway.
