Yah but that’s not what everyone using the term means, they literally mean renote because that’s what their client calls renoting, like how Damus uses the term repost. They’re “boosting” the post for more engagement.
Boost- help, encourage, lift from below, amplify.
Broadcasting doesn’t really do any of those things.
