Something I've learned is that you shouldn't argue with stupid people. Or smart people either, it'll draw attention to your faulty assumptions about them and it'll make you look bad.
In fact, avoid acting against what people say in general. You don't understand the thought process of people who disagree with you, and you can't articulate your position in a way that can stand up to challenges.
