Spent today plastic welding and doing troubleshooting recording on a TASCAM machine we worked on a while ago but came back with a new (previously unexperienced) problem of random auto-stops.
Miserable session until the problem manifested, lol. The recording cassette tape snapped off the internal wheel at one point when I tried to return to zero. Forgot safe mode was on once. A bunch of silly stuff.
I am learning to use analog tech after learning to repair it, plz be patient. Eep!
