I love my local hams. The mountains surrounding my area are burning, fires all over the place. Evac alerts and orders. The 2 repeaters that I can pick up at my location have been have antenna and equipment problems. This morning, our local ham tech person is at the top of the mountain furiously fixing all the things to make sure we have communications. I'm sitting here helping with radio checks etc. These people are amazing!
