I too studied AI, but in an armchair research way, by applying stochastic DE's in a Hopfield-like setting. It felt very genuine then too. And that was only a decade ago.

Here, though, I more mean AI as it is manifested now, which rivals a snarling greed dog in some ways. I could very much see oil money investing in AI and Crypto to stay alive.
