we are all subject to some version of these same influences. if you think you escaped them or worked your way out of them, shouldn't you help others do so too? can't you see how you might be wrong about how enlightened your thinking is? that you might have a lot to learn from those you consider "domesticated"? or that evil shit is done by other people who also think their thinking is enlightened, and that a norm of subjecting ourselves to others' thoughts is healthier for society?
