Some of you may also remember a bot was sharing DM conversation metadata (who was talking to whom and how often).
And let's not forget the IP bot a hacker built recently that doxxed Nostr users' IP addresses publicly and posted them...
Those posts also cannot be deleted.
The inability to delete posts on a platform like Nostr can have serious implications for real world personal safety, privacy.
Stay safe out there. Never Nostr without a VPN or over Tor, and keep your big zaps private.
And do your best not to accidentally doxx yourself, for example, by missing something personally identifying in the background of a photo you posted.
This happens all the time, and, of course, those simple but potentially dangerous mistakes also cannot be deleted.
