Australian folks may be aware that the Cumberland Council (Sydney, NSW) has recently banned books featuring same-sex parents from its public (government funded) libraries. If this is something that makes your blood boil, please sign and share this petition, which Equality Australia will attempt to present at the next council meeting. I do appreciate that with everything that is going on in the world, this may not seem like much, but bigotry flourishes when our attention is elsewhere:
