Khan academy is not the best for it though. Codecademy has free stuff and is decent. I know Cornell has good python and data science certs. I know the ones listed there are good for java and C++. I know that's contributing to open source software is a great resume builder for IT. Though I'm preferring certifications before I do that due to its complexity. Though it's not lack of doing it though. We'll see.
