Unfortunately, we were low on fuel, and, as power was out everywhere we could see, we ended up having to pull over soon and stay in a restaurant parking lot. Figure out what to do at dawn.

🚨 Emergency vehicles all night.

🌃 No traffic lights, no house lights, no business lights. We were in a new Dark Zone, so enjoyed unusually bright stars.

I checked utility outage maps to find a tiny area with power - and a gas station. At dawn, we headed out. 🤞
