I really enjoyed this year's PelikanHub, held in Subiaco at Earthwise Outback Hire.
It was a great venue, and an enthusiastic crowd. The beautiful giveaway in, the Lapis Gold was universally admired and appreciated, and the doorprize/exchange was luck of the draw, and I did well in it. I was glad to see that someone had grabbed the prepaid postcards I'd brought as my exchange before me, otherwise I would have, I think! I ended up with a bottle of Racing Green ink and some much appreciated Claire Fontaine blank sketchpads.
Bingkgo was played (bingo using ink samples as the numbers) and won by 3 lucky folks.
Steveg58 (npub1e8c…fwlu) rdm (npub1yql…dtj2) and I went for a walk afterwards and had icecream in Rokeby Road.
Very nice evening and it's all due to Steveg58 (npub1e8c…fwlu) telling us about it.
Thank you to Pelikan! I love the ink and it's going to feature heavily in my Drawtober entries this year.
