Imma agree with DJ on this. If GitHub was rugged, teams wd move elsewhere. Git itself doesn’t even need to be hosted, for project collaborators to share their code. There are other git hosting services.
It’s unfortunate that teams have centralized toward GitHub. But in this case, at least, don’t see centralization as an “Achilles heel”, more of just a disappointment.
