However, I was wondering (along with npub18h0x6cgsnuvcvpverz4c4vsntgpx83nuhrv827h27854mqhullpqxhcrws (npub18h0…crws) and a few other folks) whether it's necessary for a Bowden extruder to remain in the same plane as the X axis? The design as shown ensures the extruder is connected to the X axis, but that's awkward and needs a huge amount of material. Would it be possible to, for example, pin it to the backplate?
