"content": "#3DPrinting experts: someone posted this model as fix for issue 2997: https://www.printables.com/model/665916-prusa-mini-centered-extruder-mod\n\nHowever, I was wondering (along with nostr:npub18h0x6cgsnuvcvpverz4c4vsntgpx83nuhrv827h27854mqhullpqxhcrws and a few other folks) whether it's necessary for a Bowden extruder to remain in the same plane as the X axis? The design as shown ensures the extruder is connected to the X axis, but that's awkward and needs a huge amount of material. Would it be possible to, for example, pin it to the backplate?\n\nnostr:npub12atwfrq4rfv7fqara6gzsgrgj7k8ngewzl5nzs46agwyxzh0e25qxlme5y",
