Today Albert Einstein was born #OTD in 1879 and Stephen Hawking died #OTD in 1918.
Pi Day is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14th (3/14) since the numerical date corresponds to the first three digits of π (3.14). Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter and is approximately equal to 3.14159.
It is also celebrated as The International Day of Mathematics.
