Almost funny is the fact that the so-called 'sustainable bio-fuels' do not really decrease emissions, but deflect public pressure while allowing to maintain the car-centered mobility approach...
Of course, the crypto-fascist sweden democrats hate biofuels because 'bio' sounds hippy-ish and they aim to capture votes from panicked car-lovers scared of effects on their engines.

I do not know if swedish guidelines for the sustainability of biofuels are honest (EU fucked this totally up)... There were hopes for a third generation biofuels, but recently the last of the big companies pulled out of algae-derived biofuel development.
