Well, if you rawdog torrents then I'd suggest rolling with BiglyBT or aria2c. First one is more beginner friendly and even supports seeding on i2p and tor anonymous networks with just a few clicks.
And the issue why peertube can't support conventional torrents is because the webbrowser sandbox doesn't allow for that. Users would have to install a client in order to use it. So it wouldn't be the same experience as twitch or youtube....
