Godot on Wayland works fine here for me without lag on a similar configuration (openSUSE Tumblweed 20240909, KDE Plasma 6.2 beta, but also before with stable versions of Plasma, AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE with Mesa 24.1.3, AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU). Maybe I just don't hit the usecase that trigger the lag. In any case it would be good to report a bug somewhere (Godot/KDE/Mesa, not sure which one would be the right one) together with the project archive so developers can try to reproduce it.
